Describe yourself
Articulate, intuitive, funny, a bit spiky.
What did you do before BS&P?
I first worked in advertising – but direct marketing and writing for response gives me much more of a kick! I learnt copy skills and response techniques at Reader's Digest, improving results by 24% and devising worldwide DM tests. I hoped to trail-blaze my passion for response back in the agency world of WCJ and then TBWA/GGT – but traditional creative environments are shamefully hidebound.
Which work are you most proud of?
Any and all of the copy tests I have written that beat control. There's nothing like the thrill of writing that works.
Why Godalming?
I can be a real schizo-mummy! It's exhilarating to achieve great results for clients, and still be home in time to read 'Mr Pusskins'.
What gets you out of bed in the morning?
Two little voices shouting 'Morning Mummy!'
What does Brilliant Simplicity mean to you?
Not using big words to sound clever.
