Lloyds TSB status in the home insurance market was under threat; response rates were steadily reducing, and conversion rates were falling. We took a view to understand the product as well as the sales process. Our in-depth knowledge of the insurance sector helped us create strong direct marketing messages that began to restore response levels.

To ensure coherence across all communications during their major business restructure, we seconded three of our own staff to the Lloyds TSB marketing department. We significantly improved acquisition effectiveness, raising both sales rates and ROI substantially. We also found ways to reduce the marketing spend (somewhat unusual for an agency). "
