"We were asked to give American Express travel insurance its own distinct identity within the American Express stable of products. The idea had to differentiate itself from other customer communications, and be robust enough to evolve over time. Travel insurance images are invariably clichéd, so we took a lateral approach and developed the paper aeroplane 'origami' route for a cardmember mailing.

2 years later the idea has proven its longevity and flexibility, and we've recently included photographic images for increased visual impact, as well as developing animated banners, buttons and skyscrapers."
